Who can participate in this program?
Any Zoo wishing to raise funds without it costing them money may participate in this program. We currently have several zoos participating and anticipate that most zoos throughout the country will partner with zoocartridges.com.
How do our supporters find out about this program?
We make it easy for you to promote the program among your supporters. We shall be happy to send you a flyer explaining how your supporters can utilize zoocartridges.com and help the environment at the same time.
We recommend that you take this information and include it in your newsletters and other printed materials you distribute. It is also highly recommended that you include the information regarding this program on your web site so that those who log on to your site are aware of this tremendous fundraising opportunity for you and a chance for them to save a substantial amount of money on their cartridge. In addition, there are numerous events that most zoos have throughout the year that provide a great opportunity to inform Zoo attendees of this program, including Earth Day, seminars, holiday programs, etc. Zoos participating in this program have also sent information with their membership renewal packets and have provided their local newspaper with a Press Release to promote the program.
What cartridges do you sell?
Just about any cartridge used today can be ordered thru zoocartridges.com. To name just a few, we sell remanufactured cartridges that are compatible with Apple, Canon, Dell, Hewelett-Packard and Lexmark style cartridges.*
How much will the Zoo be paid?
You will receive $2.00 for each inkjet cartridge purchased in your behalf and $5.00 for each laser cartridge purchased.
When will the Zoo be paid for the items that were purchased in our behalf?
Payments are made by check on the 15th and last day of each month for Zoos receiving $50.00 or more. For Zoos whose checks are under that amount, payment will be made when the amount of the check is $50.00. Each quarter we will review our accounting records. If any checks have not accumulated $50.00 in a 3 month period (although that will be most unlikely since this program gives each Zoo and opportunity to generate a substantial amount of money in a relatively short period of time) the check will be issued at the end of that particular quarter for whatever the amount is.
How do our supporters purchase cartridges?
We’ve developed an easy way for Zoo employees, departments, volunteers and supporters to purchase cartridges to benefit your Zoo. All they need to do is log on to www.zoocartridges.com and follow the simple instructions. In addition to saving up to 70% off OEM prices for inkjet and toner cartridges, we pay all taxes and shipping costs, too! Oftentimes, that’s an additional 10 - 15% savings.
How do you know which Zoo should get credit for the cartridges purchased?
When a cartridge is purchased, the purchaser will be asked which Zoo they would like us to donate the money to. We will have a listing of all Zoos enrolled in our program. They simply click on your Zoo’s name and the donation is placed in your account. It’s that easy!
How can our corporate sponsors participate?
You should advise your corporate sponsors about ZooCartridges.com. Most of them would be happy to purchase remanufactured cartridges and realize such incredible savings. This is a win-win situation for them --they are saving money while helping the Zoo at the same time.
What is the cost to participate in this program?
Unlike most fundraising programs, there is no investment required for the Zoo to participate in this program. You may wish to make copies of the flyer we supply to promote the program, but that cost is minimal.
How long does the fundraiser last?
This fundraiser lasts as long as you want to keep earning cash for your Zoo.
Does the Zoo need to sign a contract?
No. There is absolutely no contract or investment for the Zoo. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason why your Zoo wouldn’t want to join Zoos throughout the country already participating in zoocartridges.com.
